About

Goal

UX testing lets you understand how users will interact with the interface of your service, website, or app. It's a way to test your design when it's still at the prototype stage.

We've prepared a special template for this kind of testing.

Audience

The following users are engaged as respondents:

  • Y Tasks users. They get a reward for completing your survey. At least 100 people take part in the survey. They complete tasks only on computers.

  • The audience of your own base that may contain any number of people.

Example of a task.

Cost

The cost of the survey is ₽1200. You pay for the final result rather than the number of participants.

Result

You will get:

  • A click map showing all user actions, including those who dropped out of the survey in the middle. The map shows what the users clicked on to get to the next step. The warmer the area's color, the more users clicked on it. For example, the red areas on the map were the most clicked-on ones.

You can also select an area and find out the percentage of users who clicked on it, and the percentage of their clicks. The percentage is calculated from the total number of users who started the task at this step.

You can see where users clicked for the first time in a separate section.

  • Time to complete each step. You will see the time the user spent at each step. The time is counted only for the users who reached the next step. The time is calculated based on the median: half of the users were faster and the other half were slower.
